Folder 1
Real Provisión dated June 4, 1774, concerned with a dispute over the boundaries of the hacienda Señor San Josef Buenavista, jurisdiction of Tehuacán, Mexico, which has been bought by Fernando Monteagudo from Juan Josef Verstain. It requires that the Justicia of Songolica hear testimony on the matter to be sent to the Real Audiencia of the New Spain. D.S. 16 leaves 4º.

Detailed plan in color for a bridge over the Río de la Antigua at Ventanilla near Veracruz, with specifications for its construction and cost estimates, signed in Xalapa, April 28, 1805, by the director Diego García Conde. Also included is the correspondence carried on between the Real Tribunal del Consulado de Veracruz and Viceroy Iturrigaray for approval of the project together with the modifications recommended by the Real Academia de San Carlos in Mexico. Concluding date is February 14, 1806. D.S. 14 leaves 4º, 8 leaves 8º; plan measures 25" x 30".

Description of the military buildings and fortifications of Veracruz and of the adjacent coast, dated December 31, 1808, and signed in Veracruz by Manuel Agustin Mascaró. D.S. 6 leaves 4º.

Autobiographical account of Antonio Gonzalez Calderon, Mexico, February 19, 1823, describing his utter despair in the priesthood in seeking counsel. According to the envelope, it may have destined for Manuel Mercadillo in Rome. D. 2 pieces. 6 leaves.

Undated letter from Lic. Juan Nepomuceno Rosains addressed to "Señor Gobernador" asking to be considered for the position of assessor at Tepeaca. An added note states that the gentleman was shot in Puebla in September of 1832. L. 1 piece.

Handwritten military record of José Vicente Miñón (1802-1878) telling on the battles and campaigns in which he took part and the offices he held. In conclusion the writer mentions the suffering of the top military under Juárez. D. 14 leaves.
